Compensation for Damage Caused by Illegal Use of International Money Transfer Service
Our policy on compensation for damage caused by illegal use of the international money transfer service (DCOM Money Express) is as follows. 1. Basic Policy If we are found to be negligent in the remittance damage caused by illegal access by a third party, spoofing, or internal fraud, we shall compensate the customer for all or part of the damage. Even in cases where we are not at fault, we should consider compensation or support measures as necessary from the viewpoint of customer protection. 2. Not covered by compensation (1) When the loss is caused by the customer's intentional or gross negligence (2) Illegal use by a customer's family member, close relative, or a person living in the same household, etc. (3) When a customer's report of illegal use is false or suspected to be false (4) If a customer does not cooperate with our investigation of illegal use (5) In the event of losses arising from war, riots, or other disruptions to social order (6) If notification to us is not made by 30 days after the date of damage 3. Compensation Application Procedures Customers who wish to seek compensation for losses incurred as a result of unauthorized transactions should report the damage to the consultation desk specified in the following section and follow the procedures for suspending the use of DCOM Money Express.
