(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Director and CEO Takayuki Kasama, hereinafter "Japan Post Bank") starting today, Thursday, August 1, 2024.

 

Since 2012, D. Communications has been providing international remittance services under the name "DCOM Money Express," enabling foreign residents of Japan to send money to their home countries around the world, mainly Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, through various methods, including bank transfer, ATM deposits, the internet, and the DCOM App. Through this partnership with Japan Post Bank, the new DCOM Premier Club Card** will allow customers to easily process international remittances by depositing money at any of the (approximately) 31,200 Japan Post Bank ATMs* nationwide, further increasing customer convenience.

Starting from February 1st (Thursday), the international remittance cards “Remittance Card” ”Deposit Card” will be available for use at over 13,500 Lawson Bank ATMs nationwide.

 

D. Communications, Inc. (located in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, represented by Takahiro Deguchi, hereinafter referred to as “D. Communications”) and Lawson Bank Inc. (located in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, represented by President and CEO Naoki Tsuruta, hereinafter referred to as “Lawson Bank”) will commence handling of D. Communications' issued international remittance cards “Remittance Card” (a card designated for sending funds to specified recipients) and “Deposit Card” (a card dedicated to depositing funds into an account for remittance) at Lawson Bank ATMs starting from 10:00 AM on February 1, 2024 (Thursday).

 

With this collaboration, customers will now have the convenience of easily conducting overseas remittances using just one card, the “Remittance Card” and “Deposit Card” issued by D. Communications, at over 13,500 Lawson Bank ATMs nationwide, including those installed in Lawson stores, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year*. This greatly enhances customer convenience.

 

D. Communications has been providing international remittance service “DCOM Money Express” since 2012, primarily targeting remittances to hometowns of foreign residents, with a focus on Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, as well as various other countries around the world. Customers can register as members through the internet, mobile application, or by mail, and can send money to target countries through methods such as bank transfers, ATMs, internet, and mobile application. Recipients can receive cash through methods such as bank transfers, in-store pickup, or home delivery. For remittances to Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, funds can be transferred to the recipient's bank account within 24 hours, with the quickest transfers taking as little as 10 minutes. Additionally, the Customer Support Center offers assistance in Japanese, Vietnamese, English, Indonesian, and Filipino languages.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, several countries have declared community quarantine and lockdown, including the Philippines. Last week (March 16, 2020), the Philippine government placed the entire Luzon on enhanced community quarantine.

As part of safety efforts against COVID-19, DCOM will temporarily close the WALK-IN Office at Kayabacho Station this March 29, 2020 (Sunday) until further notice.   This is in response to the Tokyo Governor’s call to stay indoors this weekend. 

Also, in an effort to jointly prevent the spread of COVID-19, DCOM has encouraged their employees to work at home. Therefore, we encourage customers to contact us directly through Facebook Messenger.

However, ACCOUNT DEPOSITS will be affected by the working holidays of the banks in the Philippines.


In respect with the upcoming Christmas and New Year holiday season, DCOM Filipino Customer Service will operate as follows:

 

December 23 to December 29, 2019 -- CLOSE

December 30, 2019 -- 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

December 31 to January 5, 2020 -- CLOSE

January 6, 2020 -- Resume Operation (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
