(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masakazu Osawa; hereinafter "MUFG Bank") for its international remittance service, DCOM.

With the launch of this new service, customers sending money through DCOM can make real-time fund transfers between their MUFG Bank accounts and DCOM when making remittances overseas.

With the introduction of this service, customers can simply register their MUFG Bank account in the DCOM app to seamlessly complete the entire overseas remittance process using only their smartphone. Without visiting a bank branch or ATM, customers can instantly add funds to their DCOM account, initiate and complete international money transfers, and withdraw any remaining app balance directly to their registered bank account. 

By taking advantage of MUFG Bank's Real-Time Bank Account Debit Service, the new service enables real-time fund transfers, enhancing customer convenience and streamlining the remittance process. As a result, customers no longer need to pre-fund their accounts or make bank transfers via ATMs before sending money, allowing them to complete international remittances more quickly and efficiently.

In addition, any remaining balance in the app after an international remittance can be transferred back to the customer's MUFG Bank account. By enabling customers to complete the entire process from funding their account and sending money overseas to withdrawing any remaining balance within the app, the service offers greater convenience in managing remittance funds and provides increased flexibility in the use of those funds. 


DCOM has been providing international remittance services to destinations across Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, and has served a growing number of customers over the years. In May 2026, the company launched its bank account debit service with Japan Post Bank, followed by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) on June 8th of the same year. With the addition of MUFG Bank, DCOM has further expanded its bank account integration network, enabling more customers to send money overseas directly from their bank accounts.

DCOM Money Express Launches Bank Direct Service with SMBC

Customers can now link their Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) account to DCOM Money Express for real-time deposits and seamless international money transfers directly from the app.

DCOM Money Express, an overseas remittance company, now enables direct debit from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation’s (SMBC’s) account.

D. Communications, Inc. (Head Office: Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture; Representative Director: Takahiro Deguchi; hereinafter “DCOM” ) launched a new service on July 8, 2026, within its international remittance service by introducing Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation’s (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akihiro Fukutome; hereinafter “SMBC”) “Super Direct Debit Service,” which enables real-time funding between customers’ SMBC accounts and DCOM when they initiate remittances through DCOM. 


With this service, customers can simply register their Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation’s (SMBC’s) account in the DCOM App and, without visiting a bank branch or ATM, they can seamlessly complete the overseas remittance process from depositing funds to making international transfers.


Moreover, with SMBC's service “Super Account Debit Service”, this enables real-time fund transfers, improving customer convenience while simplifying the remittance process. With this, customers no longer need to make advance deposits or visit an ATM to complete a bank transfer before sending money, allowing them to use a faster international remittance service.


DCOM has been providing international remittance services to countries across Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. This collaboration with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation marks the second real-time direct debit service available through DCOM Money Express, following the launch of the two-way real-time transfer service with Japan Post Bank on June 22, 2026. This gives more customers a convenient and efficient way to make international money transfers directly from their bank accounts.

Through this service, once you register your personal Japan Post Bank (Yucho Bank) account in DCOM’s smartphone app “DCOM Money Express”, you will be able to complete the entire process—from depositing funds for remittance, to submitting and processing an overseas money transfer anytime, without having to visit an ATM. 

Furthermore, this is the first time in Japan that Japan Post Bank has introduced a two-way immediate transfer service in overseas remittance services provided by fund transfer companies. 

DCOM has been providing secure and reliable international remittance services, mainly in Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and other Asian countries.
